I like the format - small gathering, with key players in the industry. A great chance to have frank and open conversations.
-
Attending this event makes networking and connecting with others so much easier. I believe the main goal for almost everyone here is to learn, and this experience truly delivers on that.
-
What I truly loved about the Payment Leaders Summit was its strong focus on real-world applications in the near term. The conference had an excellent emphasis on open banking and account-to-account payments, bringing together a diverse set of stakeholders—banks, merchants, and tech providers—all in one place. The intimate setting also allowed for meaningful, qualitative discussions. Given the high-caliber cohort here, I would absolutely recommend it.
-
The roundtable experience was particularly fruitful. It reignited my awareness of the different complexities merchants face. At the table, we had a mix of merchants from various verticals and segments, some with mature global operations, others just venturing into new territories. Hearing their experiences, learning what they are doing (and aren’t doing), and seeing how even newer entrants were leveraging very mature strategies was refreshing. The discussion fostered collaboration and generated real innovation. It was also interesting to see how the conversation grew: we started with a small group, but as the discussion progressed, more people joined, increasing from around ten to fifteen participants by the end. The energy and buzz around the discussion really highlighted how engaging and valuable these sessions are.
-
I’d describe the summit as a chance to find solutions for specific challenges, while also hearing some really interesting talks. It’s a great opportunity to see the full spectrum of payments, it’s such a wide-ranging space. You get to solve immediate business problems and also discover what’s happening in areas you might not normally come across.
-
This is definitely one of the best conferences I’ve attended. Its biggest advantage is that it truly brings together professionals who are deeply focused on payments.
-
Excellent variation of payments professionals. Well thought out spread of discussion topics and round table subjects.
-
Good event, always get above and beyond with the number of meetings which is golden!
-
The roundtables were incredibly engaging, bringing together a diverse mix of merchants and industry experts focused on problem-solving. The presence of banking professionals added valuable insights, helping to break down challenges effectively. The one-to-one meetings were also highly productive, with a great selection of merchants that aligned with our problem-solving approach at Payabl. We really appreciated the variety of industries we could support and received very positive feedback. Additionally, the seniority of attendees was impressive—many were decision-makers with deep expertise, making for meaningful and impactful discussions.
-
Our expectations were completely exceeded, and the Clarion team were ten out of ten to deal with. From the podcast preparation to scheduling our meetings, everything was seamless. The guaranteed ten meetings were great, and we’ve already had even more on our first day which has been instrumental in reaching our prospects and growing our network.
-
The Payment Leave Summit is brilliant! It's been a really great chance to find out new innovation in the payment world as well as connecting with people that we haven't before, as well as people that we've already met in the past, touch base and find out what's new with them. It's generally just a great event to keep up to date in the payments industry.
-
Very well produced event - great matchmaking for meetings, flowed well, good food and venue, felt like I had a bunch of very high value engagements. Team very friendly and good at keeping everything efficient.
-
Being able to discuss with peers rather than just vendors has been invaluable and quite reassuring to discover that actually, the challenges are very similar across different industries.
-
The conference and its content are fantastic, featuring highly qualified speakers—including some real heavy hitters. While many events have great speakers, what truly sets this one apart is the curated meetings with merchants. It’s not just another industry event; it’s bespoke, exclusive, and exceptionally well curated.
-
The meetings at PLS are really beneficial. It offers a really good opportunity for a candid open conversation whereby you can talk about industry trends and what merchants are looking to achieve in the next 18 to 24 months .Meetings have been really good.
-
It’s highly informative, provides an opportunity to engage with people from other industries, and offers a chance to step away from your usual routine. It’s a great way to gain motivation, perspective, and a fresh lift in your work.
-
What I really like about these conferences is that you meet payment experts who are genuinely interested and self-select based on what matters to them.
-
Always really like the PLS events. Love the format and how much effort the team puts in to setting us up with the right merchants!
-
We see that the calibre of the individuals and attendees are really strong at this conference. The talks have always been really good and so for us it was a logical opportunity for Airwallex to be a strong sponsor at a strong event.
-
You’ve done a fantastic job of facilitating conversations—not just with the people we aimed to connect with, but also with those we hadn’t initially considered. It’s been incredibly valuable to engage with individuals who are eager to learn and explore new opportunities.
-
The event is small enough to allow for meaningful conversations. Good speakers and relevant topics are selected!
-
For me, PLS is a real revelation, the event can open doors and provide insights into new ways of working that we should all be more open to. I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the payments industry, especially women looking to connect and learn.
-
We've really enjoyed the quality of the speakers and the content, we hear people sharing their experiences. It's great to hear the merchants who operates at scale telling us about how they deal with their own issues and compare those experiences.
-
The event was exceptionally well organised, with a format that continues to set a high standard. The combination of panel discussions and roundtable discussions were thought provoking. Overall, it was a thoroughly enriching experience.
-
My overall experience has been a great one! It's always interesting to participate in conferences to learn off of the merchants, but also understand what the latest innovations are in the payment space.
-
It was encouraging to see that others are facing similar challenges to those I deal with every day. I’d definitely recommend PLS to others in the financial industry, the quality of insight and helpful information you get from peers across different companies is excellent. The panels are also fantastic, both in content and in the calibre of talent they bring together
-
The ability to connect with customers we specifically want to speak to is a huge advantage. It allows us to pre-select customers, prepare accordingly, and make meaningful personal connections so we can serve their needs effectively. I believe personal introductions and connections are critical, understanding and meeting new people at these events is crucial for building relationships with customers looking to enhance their payment experiences.
-
If I were to take one key takeaway back to my company, it’s the real value of engaging with a wide range of suppliers and understanding the solutions and products they offer in this fast-paced environment. It’s unique to be able to speak with three or four different companies in the same space, all in one location, and begin making decisions about what to take forward.
-
The women in payments session was particularly valuable for women who may not always put themselves forward as leaders but are happy to promote their colleagues. It was an informative and formative session with role-play and coaching, showing how a little support can make a real difference.
-
I really benefited from the informal, low-traffic nature. There was a great mixture of keynote speakers/panels, roundtables, and one to ones. It afforded me the opportunity to ask lots of questions, meet the people I thought I needed to, and hear from other peers in the industry.
Take a look into our Global portfolio, and hear what you can expect by becoming part of the PLS community!

It was an honor to participate in PLS as a panelist for the discussion on how to drive conversions. Engaging with such esteemed industry experts and exchanging insights was truly an enriching experience.
-
It's been very positive, the entire organisation, the setup, the assistance we’re getting from you, and the people that have come to the show are very relevant. So we're very happy with it.
-
Our team just wrapped up two jam-packed days of meetings at the Payments Leaders' Summit. We continue to sponsor and participate in this event because of the high caliber of attendees and the invaluable networking opportunities it consistently provides. It’s always a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces. Thank you once again for the outstanding execution of this event.
-
A fruitful time at the Payments Leaders' Summit—grateful for the opportunity to meet new connections, gain fresh insights, and attend the Women in Payments lunch."
-
There's an open atmosphere where it's easy to mingle, easy to meet other merchants, other suppliers that I don’t have knowledge of. So it's very easy to mingle and build network.
-
It was a very well-attended industry event. I really enjoyed catching up with industry leaders, as well as connecting with existing users and prospects during the roundtables and breakout sessions.
-
I think the insight shared during the panel discussions was quite diverse. Lots of different stakeholders in the payment industry, and that really helps to get a grasp of what's trending in the payments industry at this moment. For someone who's never attended the summit, it's really a good way for networking and also to get an idea of what some of the themes are that I may want to look into for my business.
-
We're delighted with the quality and the quantity of the delegates. The quality of the attendees is fantastic. It fits very nicely into our ideal customer profile. And you've got enterprise customers here, enterprise merchants, head of payments, VP of payments. So it's right in our sweet spot.
-
Great to be at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam! I’m enjoying the insightful panel discussions and engaging in roundtable sessions with industry experts. It’s always a pleasure reconnecting with old friends and making new connections. I’m looking forward to applying some of the valuable insights to enhance our payment solutions at Stayntouch.
-
An amazing time at the Payments Leaders' Summit has come to a conclusion. I feel vastly more educated than at the start of the week, having gathered fantastic insights from excellent talks and panels, as well as engaging with a wide range of knowledgeable people across various industries.
-
Hearing about the challenges they actually faced and how we could use their experience to our advantage was really valuable. The quality of speakers and the content was very useful. It was very dynamic. There were a lot of different topics discussed, from open banking to orchestration, payment methods, and innovation.
-
I really love the human interaction and the helpful approach during the one-to-ones.
-
If I compare this event and its format to events I've attended in the past, I'd say there's a strong focus on networking. It's quite intimate, so that gives a nice way to easily get introduced to new people. It’s a nice and social atmosphere.
-
"Payments Leaders' Summit is in full swing, and the content and conversations have been superbly rich. I always enjoy the meaningful talks and individual industry chats I get to be a part of, and I especially love the unique Women in Payments lunches with inspirational speakers I have the privilege to meet and look up to."
-
We wanted to come to an event that is a trusted leader in the industry, where senior members come and meet and talk and discuss different ideas and promote their solutions. We heard about this conference several times from other customers and prospects that have attended in the past. When we came to the event, we didn’t know what to expect because this was new. We were hoping to meet relevant people, and the organisers helped us understand that the onboarding process of vendors and sponsors is very relevant to us. The people that we met were exactly what we needed.
-
I think it’s a good opportunity for us to be in a smaller room or with a smaller amount of people to connect on a deeper level. If you have events with hundreds of people, it’s more small talk. But here, I’ve had some talks just during the lunch, and you can go more into depth as well with the meetings.
-
A lot of speakers brought a lot of in-depth knowledge and experience to the conference. So it was very useful to other attendees as well. The event's overall atmosphere was fantastic.

I attended PLS to engage with colleagues across different industries, learn best practices, and gain insights that will help me make more informed long-term decisions for my organization. As a merchant, one of the most valuable aspects has been hearing firsthand experiences from others using these products, rather than just from those selling them. That real-world perspective has been incredibly useful.
-
It’s not just merchants—it also includes issuers, which makes for an interesting format to hear all sides of the payment equation.
-
Being a sponsor has been incredibly satisfying. It’s an intimate setting where we’ve been able to interact with senior ecosystem decision makers and have productive, interesting conversations, not just high-level talk. Intimate, interesting, and cutting-edge
-
The conference provided great insights into the latest TP payment trends and answered key questions I had—such as how to drive merchant adoption of open banking and how to successfully launch peer-to-peer payments for our customers.
-
One-to-one meetings are essential. Sure, I can grab a drink and chat with people, but having dedicated one-on-one time is invaluable. You do a great job of bringing the right people together and facilitating warm introductions. The structured conversations, with clear topics to discuss, add a level of value that other conferences simply don’t.
-
The conference itself and the content are fantastic! The speakers are highly qualified, with some real heavy hitters involved. What truly sets this event apart, however, is the curated meetings directly with the merchants—it's a unique feature that distinguishes it from other events in the industry.
-
There were other businesses that chose to meet with us, ones we hadn’t even considered pairing up with. Some of those conversations turned out to be just as productive, if not more productive, than the meetings we had originally planned.
-
Not only were they very effective at connecting me with the right decision makers, but they also provided an amazing opportunity to learn about cutting-edge topics in payments - real pain points, what people are experiencing, and what they're looking for.
-
The roundtables were one of the best parts of the show. People were open and honest, and the moderators asked really good, relevant questions. The one-on-one meetings were surprisingly good - not typical sales pitches, but real, relevant conversations. My overall experience: network expanding, knowledge expanding, and learning.
-
PLS allows people to interact in a way they can control and feel respected, and it helps them optimise their time. I think it's a great way to engage at a high level, where you can meet people who bring significant, qualified reference points to what you’re doing in your own work. You can talk to them, bring them into your network, and enjoy the camaraderie of building relationships!
-
I would definitely recommend sponsoring Payment Leader Summit to other chargeback mitigation providers. There are a lot of merchants here that require chargeback prevention and fighting tools. It’s a great opportunity to meet enterprise-level merchants that need our services. The biggest value I walk away with is understanding merchant needs. Hearing pain points really helps me hone in on exactly what solution is needed. Sponsoring has definitely delivered the ROI we were looking for, at least based on the initial conversations. Based on the size of the opportunities, I’m fairly positive we’ll have a very good ROI from this conference.
-
The focus on enterprise merchants brings a level of sophistication we really value. Being able to have more nuanced, complex conversations around payments and talk to the right people within organisations, has been super effective and meaningful for us. I really appreciate the more intimate setting. You can have more meaningful conversations, thoughtfully advise, consult, and build relationships with longevity. Most payments projects involve more than one person, so being able to put a face to the decision-making team is huge. That enables further progress and discussion down the line.
-
The insight panels bring a wealth of knowledge across a broad range, very informative to everyone here. I would recommend Payment Leader Summit to senior leaders because payments is evolving daily. If you don't stay on top of it, you're going to be left behind. This event takes it to a higher level, which is very important in today’s environment. Women in payments and fraud don’t have enough voice. We’re a growing number at the senior level, and this is a great way to network with like minds and be part of something that’s a change!
-
Super effective! Merchants share their roadmaps before meetings, so you can get straight to the point. It’s a very private event with face-to-face, real business discussions. It's a great chance to connect, network, and learn market trends.
-
It’s been great meeting people across payments helped expand my knowledge and reconnect with friends. The balance of professional sessions and networking, with good food and drinks, made conversations easier and enjoyable. The roundtables stood out for the depth of expertise and valuable insights I gained to shape my vision at Virgin Voyages!
